6 Vegan sausages
3 Large white potatoes
Gravy granules
6 Medium sized white Mushrooms
50g Vegan butter
1 Medium sized white onion (or red)
*Adjust amount of ingredients to suit the number of portions

Most local supermarkets will sell plant based alternatives to dairy and meat products or try your local health food specialist store.

1. Place sausages in the oven according to instructions. Chop onion and mushrooms, lightly fry in oil until brown.

2. Chop potatoes into medium sized chunks and place in boiling water. Add a pinch of salt.

3. Add gravy granules to another pan of boiling water. Add the fried onion and mushrooms to the gravy. Leave to simmer until food is cooked. Stir occasionally.

4. Drain potatoes when cooked then melt butter in a pan, add the potatoes, mash and stir on low heat.

5. Plate up the sausages & mash, pour gravy all over and enjoy.
